The hard questions.
What happens to my store if Niblr shuts down?
It keeps running. The code is MIT-licensed, your catalog, orders and customers export as spreadsheets from any plan, and the hosted version is the same codebase you can deploy yourself. Worst case, you stand up your own instance on Vercel and Postgres and load your data into it — the same path a self-hoster takes on day one. This is the entire reason the architecture looks the way it does.
Do I need to code?
Not on a hosted plan — pick a template, compose pages from blocks, and run the store from the admin. To self-host, expect some setup: deploy to Vercel and set a few environment variables.
Can I move between hosted and self-hosted?
Anytime, in either direction. It's the same codebase and your data is yours — export and go whenever. No lock-in, no exit fee, no sales call.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Start on a niblr.store subdomain, then attach a custom domain whenever you're ready.
